Tiffany Gassouk, a French-American citizen, has been part of the book publishing industry for 17 years. After working as a literary scout in New York for 5 years, she moved back to France to enter the Hachette Group in 2012, first as editorial director of the crime & thrillers division at paperback house Le livre de poche, and then as head of the foreign department of Calmann-Lévy. In 2021, Tiffany Gassouk joined independent publishing leader and legendary house, Gallimard, where she supervises Anglo and Asian literature. Authors she works with include: Jonathan Coe; Ian McEwan; Zadie Smith; Hisham Matar; Chimamanda Adichie; Sally Rooney; Ocean Vuong; Salman Rushdie; Arundhati Roy; Perumal Murugan; Mieko Kawakami.
