Sabine Wespieser founded the publishing house that bears her name in 2001, after teaching classics, and learning her trade as an editor, at Actes Sud. Sabine Wespieser éditeur is an independent literary structure, publishing over ten fiction titles a year. The publishing house has worked with French writers such as Diane Meur, Yanick Lahens, Louis-Philippe Dalembert, and Dima Abdallah, as well as international writers such as  Claire Keegan, Jan Carson, and Selina Sen. To date, the company has published over 235 titles.
