Vikrant Mathur was appointed Executive Director of Nielsen Bookdata in 2010 when Nielsen launched BookScan India. He and his team are responsible for the development and sales of Nielsen Book’s range of services including Discovery (BookData product range) and Research services (including BookScan) in the region. He was responsible for the APAC market including Australia and New Zealand. Recently, the team has been involved in territorial expansion into the UAE market. The team is instrumental in educating the book industry about the importance of metadata for both publishers and booksellers to add value to their businesses.
