Udaya Narayana Singh
Udaya Narayana Singh has published poems, plays and essays in Maithili, Bangla and Hindi and has translated and published over 250 research papers. He received the coveted Sahitya Akademi Award 2017 for poetry. His latest books include The Other India: View From Below (Sahitya Akademi, jointly with Rajarshi Singh), Sukumar Sen: The Great Chronicler of Time and a play in Maithili: Antigone Ekavingshat. He has also produced 545 documentaries on language and literature of Bangla, Tamil, Kannada and Marathi.
