Rosemarie Hudson, grew up in London and founded BlackAmber in 1998, aiming to amplify unheard voices in English and international languages, especially from Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean. After publishing acclaimed authors, her trailblazing spirit led to the creation of HopeRoad in 2010. This indie publisher, under her guidance, showcases narratives on identity, cultural stereotyping, and injustice. Hudson, an experienced mentor, is also a board member of Inpress Books, anticipating the 15th anniversary of HopeRoad with enthusiasm for its future.
