Rituparna Neog is a prominent queer feminist activist from Assam, poet, storyteller, and development sector worker. She founded Akam Foundation, focusing on gender justice and education in Northeast India. Neog is Associate Vice Chairperson of the State Transgender Welfare Board and a representative on the National Council of Transgender Persons.
