Manisha Chaudhry

Manisha Chaudhry has been a publishing professional since 1986. She has been a consultant to a range of organisations in the development sector and the UN. An editor and translator fluent in Hindi and English, Manisha's work has been published by Kali for Women, Zubaan Books, OUP, Niyogi Books and Permanent Black among others. She was the editorial head at Pratham Books until 2017. She was one of the founder-trustees of Bookaroo Children's Literature Festival and spearheaded the initiative of Bookaroo in the City. The Children’s Outreach of the Jaipur Literature Festival was started under her guidance. A member of the FICCI Publishing Committee, she currently heads the Zubaan-Prabha Khaitan Translation Programme and also leads Jaipur BookMark at the Jaipur Literature Festival.
