Annie Montaut is Professor Emeritus of Hindi Language and Literature at INALCO in Paris. She has translated into French the works of Nirmal Verma, Krishna Baldev Vaid, Jainendra Kumar, Alka Saraogi, Geetanjali Shree, Kedarnath Singh, Anupam Mishra and Ashis Nandy.
