Sameer Mahale
Sameer Mahale currently oversees the complete sales portfolio for Penguin in India, bringing 22 years of experience in general trade publishing. He joined Penguin in 2017 as General Manager of Sales, managing children’s sales, custom publishing, DK sales, and the North India region, and later headed the Online Sales Team in 2021. Offering a 360-degree publishing perspective, Sameer leads sales and manages the Penguin Enterprise division. He has been instrumental in driving eCommerce growth and is recognized as an industry expert. Sameer also teaches courses on the Indian publishing landscape and sales and distribution strategy at the National Book Trust.
