Kiran Haribhau Kulkarni
Kiran Haribhau Kulkarni is an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Maharashtra cadre, currently serving as Secretary, Marathi Language Department, Government of Maharashtra. With a Ph.D. in Development Economics and qualifications in law and sociology, he brings multidisciplinary expertise to public administration. Over a distinguished career, he has held key leadership roles in municipal governance, tribal development, and capacity building. A prolific writer, academic, and filmmaker, Dr. Kulkarni has contributed to over 30 documentary and training films and authored several books. He is deeply committed to the promotion of Marathi language, literature, and culture through policy, education, and creative engagement.
