Julie Finch
Julie Finch is the CEO of Hay Festival, the world’s leading literary charity bringing writers and readers together through events that inspire, examine, and entertain audiences globally. Based in Hay-on-Wye, Wales, she joined the Festival in 2022 to lead a new organisational strategy focused on expanding its international reach, impact, and long-term sustainability. A cultural leader with over two decades of experience across the charity, public, and private sectors, Finch has led major cultural transformation projects, developed new museums, and strengthened audience engagement. She is an active advocate for the arts and a committed mentor within the cultural sector.
