Dinesh Singh
Professor Dinesh Singh is a mathematician, education reformer, and public intellectual. He is Vice Chairman of the Jammu & Kashmir Higher Education Council, Chancellor of K. R. Mangalam University, Distinguished University Professor at Jindal Global University, and Adjunct Professor at the University of Houston. Formerly Vice Chancellor of Delhi University, he has held numerous national and international academic leadership roles. A Padma Shri awardee, he contributed foundational ideas to India’s National Education Policy (2020). Author of Twisted Tales and several mathematics texts, Singh is also a painter, public speaker, and lifelong student of Gandhian philosophy, with deep literary interests in English, Hindi, and Urdu.
