Sugata Ghosh
Sugata is the Deputy Managing Director at Sage South Asia and a member of the India Board, overseeing South Asian business operations. He leads the publishing of journals, drives strategic sales and marketing initiatives for research and learning products, and heads corporate programs including CSR and sustainability at Sage India. With over 30 years in media and publishing, he previously worked with Encyclopaedia Britannica, Financial Express, Macmillan, and OUP. Sugata joined Sage in 2004, served as VP for books and journals acquisition until 2012, and rejoined in 2022. A PhD in Economics, he enjoys food entrepreneurship, reading, music, travel, and discussions on geopolitics, sports, and literature.
