Mohit Batra
Mohit Batra is a third-generation bookseller and the founder of the initiative A Book is the Smartest Hand Held Device, which aims to position books as meaningful tools for children through author discussions. He has curated sessions with Sudha Murty, Vishwanathan Anand, Malcolm Gladwell, Robin Sharma, Indira Nooyi, Jeffrey Archer, and Dr. Raghuram Rajan. A gold medalist from XLRI, Jamshedpur, Mohit left a corporate career to continue his family legacy of celebrating books. He also leads the literary agency Paper Sparrows, introducing new and classic voices, believing in the power of reading to connect us to ourselves.
