Susan Hawthorn
Susan Hawthorne co-founded, with Renate Klein, the independent feminist press, Spinifex Press in 1991. She is a poet, novelist and author of political non-fiction including Bibliodiversity: A Manifesto for Independent Publishing and her latest Vortex: The Crisis of Patriarchy. She is Adjunct Professor at James Cook University, Townsville. Her novel, Dark Matters will be published in Tamil next year. Bibliodiversity has been translated into Arabic, French, Spanish, German and Czech.
