Kannan Sundaram

S.R. Sundaram (aka Kannan Sundaram) is the Managing Director and Publisher of Kalachuvadu Publication Pvt Ltd. He is also the editor of the publication’s eponymous magazine, a monthly journal for culture and politics and writes for national publications and websites. He has been part of the International Visitor Program to the US (2002), the Frankfurt Book Fair Fellowship Programme (2007), the Visiting International Publisher programme in Sydney in 2017 and the Istanbul Fellowship in 2020. He has published six Tamil books consisting of critical articles on Tamil media, publishing and politics. Kalachuvadu was awarded the Best Publisher Award by Publishing Next (2018) and the Romain Rolland award for Best Translation from French to an Indian language (2018).
