Jayapriya Vasudevan has more than 20 years experience of working in publishing. She is the co-founder of India’s first bookstore café in Bangalore. In 1997, she set up Jacaranda, India’s first ever literary agency. Over the years, the agency has grown and now represents a diverse list of authors from Singapore and across South East Asia and beyond. Vasudevan also runs a regular course at Bangalore’s world-famous writing programme. She was the Festival Director for the 2017 and 2018 editions of the Times Lit Fest in Bangalore.
