Vikrant Mathur was appointed as Director of Nielsen Book in 2010 when Nielsen launched BookScan India and currently heads up the India and Asia Pacific region operations of Nielsen Book. Mathur and his team are responsible for the development and sales of Nielsen Book’s range of services including Discovery (BookData product range) and Research services (including BookScan). The team are instrumental in educating the book industry about the importance of metadata for both publishers and booksellers and the benefit and value to their businesses.
