Cathy McCullough

Cathy McCullough is the founder, director and programmer for the John O’Connor Writing School and Literary Arts Festival, which takes place in Armagh, the ancient capital of Ireland. It started in November 2016 and is honoured with the patronage of Pulitzer prize-winning poet, Paul Muldoon. McCullough has a long history of involvement with the arts in Northern Ireland. She was founder and programmer for Fringe Benefits theatre company, which was set up to provide professional theatre training to aspiring actors who did not have the financial or academic means to access training. She is also Chair of Green Shoot Productions, one of the most creative and established theatre production houses in Northern Ireland.
